I am moving about 6TB of video files off my old UnRaid NAS onto a 12TB Synology until I can rebuild. Both are on the same 1GB ethernet network but I am seeing transfer speeds of only about 10MB/sec. It's gonna take forever!!! Is there a faster way?

    That suggests one of them is only connected at 100Mbits, check link speeds on both sides.

    It turns out that the network card was the problem. I replaced it with a gigabit PCI card and all's well
