May 24, 20242 yr UNRAID: 6.12.10 Hi guys, Very new to UnRaid, but absolutely love it so far. One thing I'm having a bit of trouble understanding however is the Mover. I understand that it moves files off my cache drive onto the array. But how does this work with directories and file structure? Basically, I currently torrent with qBittorrent directly onto my array, as I have categories set up for different types of media. So I have a folder for Movies, TV, etc. I can choose the category and have it torrent directly into those folders, so when I go to scan from plex, it finds them quickly and easily. But I want to be torrenting onto my Cache and have everything moved over every night. But how do I know where my files are going to be? In regards to my shares? When it moves my files over to the array, how does it know I want Movies in the movies folder and etc. Sorry if this makes no sense.
May 24, 20242 yr Hello, When you define a share you might have selected Primary and Secondary storage, you then can specify Mover action. See the attached screenshot. Under Settings | Scheduler you can see the default definition for this action. See the second screenshot.

In other words mover simply mirrors the path on the cache drive to the array and does not look at the content of any files.
