May 24, 20242 yr Hi all, i'm new to unraid and have been struggling with a few things. I managed to get a vm up and running with blue iris working and disk passed through working well. I then realised that i was using a virtual gpu. I stopped the vm and selected the igpu then things went bad. The vm wont boot (stays on the ufei boot screen) even if i select the virtual gpu. Any ideas how to get it working even with the virtual one so i can keep the cameras going? heres the settings i'm using. Thanks
May 25, 20242 yr I'm having a very similar problem. In my instance I can add the graphics as a second graphics card but can't "swap" from the VNC to the dedicated graphics. Hope one of us gets a solution that fixes both!
May 25, 20242 yr Author Haha let me know if you and I’ll also keep you updated. Looks like a new vm by the looks of that post
May 25, 20242 yr review: to pass any gpu you need the kernal in use driver to be vfio. you may also need to install the intel pulgin driver for the igpu... Edited May 25, 20242 yr by bmartino1
