Asus N100 D4 ... C3 only

Featured Replies

Hi all. I wanted to finally sway away from m years old Qnap to unriad. So I bought:

Asus N100 D4

16 Gig Ram

PCI-E Sata 6 Port

I can´t get the system to go below C3, no matter what. I have disconnected ALL but one SSD drive, unplugged the Sata-Controller. Basically nothing is connected to the board. Not even a monitor and no keyboard.

Using lspci -vv | awk '/ASPM/{print $0}' RS= | grep --color -P '(^[a-z0-9:.]+|ASPM )' ASPM status for all devices is "Enabled".

The system, with just that one SSD drive, pulls 20 Watts. I was hoping to get 10 in idle to be kept on constantly, but no luck so far.

Anyone got some experience with the Asus boards and its culprits?
