Hello all,

 

I hope you can shed some light on a problem I'm having. I've tried searching for this and don't seem to see anything that can or will help. I had this working previously and then due to my own stupidity cleared my vmdisk so have now had to reinstall and set back up and can't get this working.

 

I have a Windows 11 fully installed and working using VNC as first graphics card and a 1080Ti passed through as second but I want to remove the VNC as first graphics card and put the 1080Ti in there only, everytime I do this the machine hangs when booting. I'm using a known working vBIOS for the card and this did work previously so can't figure out what I did or need to do.

 

It should be such a simple set up but it's not happy.

 

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

AFAIK usually to change the graphics configuration you need to delete the VM (not the vdisk) and recreate pointing to the existing vdisk with the configuration as you want it first time.

I've just tried spinning up another just like this and it's done about the same thing. Booted but nothing on display and I don't see the machine on my router grabbing an IP either.
