May 25, 20242 yr Hi so lately I’ve noticed unraid keeps freezing or stalling I can’t access any of my dockers even unraid gui itself. I’ve had unraid for a fair few years no issues but lately this is tarting to happen causing me to have to hard reset the server. What logs would I need to upload to be able to find some help.
May 25, 20242 yr Author I’ve ran diagnostics after restarting the server but I’m guessing this won’t show anything. Maybe just need to run a reboot in user scripts every couple of days to help stop the hang.
May 25, 20242 yr run memtest this could be early signs of hardware failure. Ram/HDD/ have MTF (Mean time to fail)... we would need the attached diag file to search a few things. Can't say yeah or nay without going through it.
May 25, 20242 yr Author I’ve attached the diagnostics I ran after the freeze. I did recently have my cache drive fail but I’ve since replaced this. homepvr-diagnostics-20240525-1856.zip
May 26, 20242 yr Make sure this has been taken cared of: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?do=findComment&comment=819173 If issues persist enable the syslog server and post that after a crash.
May 28, 20242 yr Author Thanks I’ve just seen the reply just as it locked up again I will look into this I’ve had the server working perfectly for a few years until recently but will look at this as I haven’t set any of that stuff like that so will look to see if that helps. Then I’ll have look into the logs also.
