Rogue directory [SOLVED]

Featured Replies

so, I run a YAMJ script that's has been running just fine for a long time. al it does is run the Java YAMJ against my "Video" folder and build the series of html files in the rot of that directory: /mnt/user/Video

I recently added a 4th data drive and I'm not sure what I did wrong or what happened, but that Script is no longer going to the "Video" share.  it runs fine, but the results go to a weird folder.  Here's what I mean by "weird":

if I telnet to tower and go to /mnt/user/ there are 2 Video folders "Video" and "Video\r" if I browse to Disk4 on the web interface there's a folder called "Video /" and if I browse to disk4 on my windows machine I see a \\tower\disk4\VNKZWK~F

so...I can COPY the files out of that directory to the proper folder and everything's okay, but still I shouldn't have to do it.  I can't move or delete that janky folder.

anyone know how I can fix this or why it happened?

thanks!

oh, version: 5.0-beta14  :)

ok, I managed to delete the folder in Midnight Commander.  but then when I run my movies script again, it's creating this other folder.  but I don't understand why....

bah, it had something to do with the export command I was running at the beginning of my script....I think.  I re-wrote it and now it's working.

sorry about the mess.

move along....nothing to see here.  ;)
