Yes it is possible, open multiple telnet sessions.  Check the unRAID wiki and the unRAID Configuration Tutorial

Yes, you can probably do about 4 at a time before feeling it to painfully.

 

I would probably stagger them a bit. Start 2. let it pre-read, as they start writing.

 

Start the next 2 with the pre-read.

 

Then you have 4 going two in each direction.

 

It will use the maximum bandwidth of approximately a x1 PCIe port. Maybe 2.
