Sorry if this has been asked already but I couldn't find much info on this when I searched the forums.

 

I am about to add an ssd to my unraid box as a cache drive, do I need to pre-clear it?

 

Is there any other testing or anything else I should do to it before adding it?

 

This is my first unraid build and my first cache drive so a bit of a beginner here.
