December 28, 201114 yr I have installed iStat on unraid 5b12a via ajax3712 instructions here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=16516.0 unRaid reports: Status: iStat Server v0.5.6 is installed and running. When I use iStat to connect via my iTouch v4, I need to enter either a host name or an ip Address. I have never let my unRaid be open to the web before and have no holes punched through my router for this. Still I attempted to access by the ip wan address of my router with the correct port number but this doesn't work when I am offsite. I get iStat unable to connect to Server1. Locally I connected via the local ip address of unRaid on my network (192.168.1.106) and got through fine. What is the correct way to have unRaid submit iStat information out to the web?? Obviously when I am local, the monitoring features of iStat are cute, but not necessary. When I am away, it is much more important to monitor the beast.
