Removing Failed Backups

Recently I have noted that two of my APPdata backups have failed. Newer backups have worked fine. I am wanting to delete the failed backups but they seem to be locked and I am getting a "You require permission from TOWER/root to make changes to this folder" messge. These two backups are 50GB in size.

Ive been able to delete other backups which I no longer need but not these. Ive tried using Krusader but the files dont get deleted. I dont receive an error dialogue.

How would I go about deleting these folders?

I dont use the CL either.
