Unraid on USB-SATA adapter

Sorry, noob here, just trying to test this out to see if it meets my requirements.

I picked up a second hand HPE Micro PC, which has an SSD running from a USB-SATA adapter. I've installed UnRaid on this drive, and it's all booted OK, but on first login I've tried to apply a 30 day free trial and got hit with an error telling me the GUID is already registered to another user.

The GUID in question seems like it may be a bit generic (there's a few sequential numbers such as 0000, 0123456, 7888) so I'm wondering if it's likely that the GUID is for the adapter rather than the drive, and maybe the creators of the adapter do not use unique GUIDs.

Is there any way around this, or am I going to have to use a different boot device?

Almost certainly going to need a different boot device that does have a unique GUID.
