UNRAID 6.8.3 disc disabled, not installed, not saying it's emulated?

Apparently I had a cable go bad and cause a massive spike of read errors on my newly installed drive. I have attempted to get my system up and running again, but every single post I have come across that addresses this issue no longer works as the wiki has been updated to new pages and all links in previous posts are completely broken. I have taken the system offline, put it in maintenance mode to clear the drive from the slot, replaced the cables but it won't let me put it back in. All it says is drive is not installed at this point.

I do not know if it is being emulated either as it doesn't say it's being emulated, anywhere, but my system does say my parity is currently valid with the drive missing. I have not formatted the drive that has "failed" I have it currently unplugged at this point as I do not want to potentially lose my data that is on it. I have purchased a new drive that will be here in hopefully a week with plans to rebuild to that new drive, as per the fact my parity is apparetly valid. When I go to the main tab, click on the disk 4 that is disabled, it does state that the file system is mounted. Does this mean it is in fact being emulated?

Is this the correct steps to take or am I being completely stupid? I have added pictures as it's easier for people to see what I see, and help me understand what to do next. As you can see my array is "fine" and everything is green, but disc 4 right now is missing. Again it is currently unplugged as when I plug it in, it is "disabled", and I can not reassign it.

I am very sorry if these are stupid questions, I'm just worried that I might have lost a buttload of data due to a fault cable. Also the reason I have not updated from 6.8.3 is my system has wonderful Marvell controllers which drop out randomly on newer builds. I am in the process of purchasing new gear to move everything over to something "modern".

Thank you for your patience and your help.

Missing disk is being correctly emulated, and everything looks good, you can just rebuild a any time, have you tried to replace cables on the missing disk to see if it comes back online to check SMART?

No I have not as of yet as I have ordered a replacement drive, and new cables just to make certain. Awaiting the drive at this point.

I will be testing the drive on another unit when I have time.

Thank you for helping me and letting me know that the drive is being emulated correctly. It has taken a massive load off my mind.
