New parity drive: "Stopped. Disk in parity slot is not biggest."

Featured Replies

Hello,

while my 2 drives from this thread (https://forums.unraid.net/topic/166160-2-hdd-died-at-the-same-time-but-different-how-would-you-proceed/)are shipped to seagate for warranty support I wanted to use a new 512 gb ssd with my old cache as an array to get unraid to run. Unraid does not allow me do so  because of:
"Stopped. Disk in parity slot is not biggest."

drives look like this =>

I also formatted the new drive like this:

I saw in another thread that you need to disable HPA =>

so.. Why does it not detect, that the new drive is bigger than my cache drive? How can I achieve that?

You would need to do a new config, cache drive was a single device pool correct?
