damianeickhoff Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Hi Everyone, So I've got this weird issue since friday where my array suddenly disappears. It doesn't make a difference if the system is idle or not. So basically what happens is that for one moment to the other the shares are gone. When stopping the array it shows that every disk is missing. After a reboot, the discs are back and I can start the array again without any issue and everything works normal again. I guess it works for around an hour, sometimes half an hour, but the problem keeps coming back. I already did a clean install with formatting all the disks and also excluded 1 disk after seeing that the SMART gives an error on that one, but no luck. Now I also noticed that, when I checked the logging after the issue happend, it gives some error about disk2 (even though SMART gives no issues on that one). Now what I'm wondering the most if its a issue because some (or all?) the drives are bad and need to replaced or if something funky is going on. I added the diagnostics right after the issue happend and I hope someone can give me some good news! :) nebula-diagnostics-20240609-1849.zip Quote
Squid Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 You've got multiple drives resetting themselves and ultimately dropping offline. Reseat all cabling and power both ends Quote
damianeickhoff Posted June 10, 2024 Author Posted June 10, 2024 (edited) @Squid So I unplugged all the cables from the drives and plugged them back. Yet the problem persists. I'm reading up on the forums it could also be a cache issue. Is that possible in my case? Edit: also, what I noticed is that it happens when NZBget is downloading something, maybe that's a crucial part? 😅 Edited June 10, 2024 by damianeickhoff Quote
