Where to put anonymous.sh

Featured Replies

Using 4.5.6

I have the issue of only 1 client being able to connect to my share at any one time using media streamer types boxes, I have the shares as follows:

Export RO

Exceptions mrfoo,mrbar

Valid User mrfoo,mrbar,guest

No password set for guest.

I just set the user as "guest" on the media streamer, blank password and all has worked fine, but I now have another media streaming box, and when this box tries to connect using the same concept it fails.

I believe I need to use the anonymous.sh script to fix this?

Where do I place it? Do I append it to the "go" file in /config?

Do I have to restart smb?

Thanks
