Migrating from Synology to Unraid

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a Synology NAS with two 14TB drives (12.7 usable) totaling at 25.4tb, with 20.1tb used. The volume's filesystem is btrfs and running in RAID0.

I do not have 20tb available in my Unraid server (only 7tb). How can I migrate everything from those two drives to my Unraid, without data loss? I want to continue using the drives, as I'm simply wanting to consolidate everything.

If you have any questions please let me know and I'll try my best to answer them!

Thanks!

You'd need to add some new storage to the Unraid server.
