FlappoJuanTappo Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 Hi all, i tried installing a custom docker from dockerhub. After doing so i rebooted my server. When it was restarted my vm's and docker containers were gone. I reinstalled the dockers via previous apps. Any idea how to restore vms? I included the diagnostics zip tower-diagnostics-20240611-2246.zip Quote
itimpi Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 Docker containers and VMs do not just ‘disappear’ so something else must have happened. Without knowing what that was it is difficult to suggest what might have happened. Quote
FlappoJuanTappo Posted June 11, 2024 Author Posted June 11, 2024 Sure i get it, they probably arent gone but they are not showing anymore on the corresponding pages. I made sure that the docker and vm services were started Quote
trurl Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 Why do you have 200G docker.img? Have you had problems filling it? The usual cause of filling docker.img is an application writing to a path that isn't mapped. Default 20G docker.img is often enough, docker.img usage should not be growing except a small amount when you install a new application. Also, your dockers/VMs would perform better and not keep array disks spunup if you had cache or other fast pool for them to live on. Quote
