Featured Replies

I'm new to Unraid and wanted install the command screen for terminal to my system, seeing that Nerd Tools is now deprecated I took it upon myself to try and make my first plugin.

Here's an easy way to install screen for terminal

How to use:

Go to the Plugins tab > Install Plugin

Enter the following URL

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/trulow/Screen-for-Unraid/main/plugin/Screen-for-Unraid.plg

View the man page for screen here:

https://linux.die.net/man/1/screen

If this is the wrong place, please let me know and I can either move it or take it down.

Thank you so much for this plugin. It saved me hours of frustration.
I really do not understand why limetech is not including the screen command by default. It literally does not cost a lot of space and would make life so much easier.

Thank God this exists.

When nerd tools stoped working this is the solution.

I would think that using tmux can do as good a job, and there is a tmux plugin to give a GUI based way of managing sessions.

Updated this to the latest screen version 5.0.1.

Also made some changes so that it now pulls screen directly from slackware.

Anyone know how I can submit this to be approved for the community application store?
