Docker Engine not starting after replacing failing disk in array and adding SSD to cache pool

Featured Replies

I had a failing disk in my array that needed to be replaced and decided to replace the disk AND install an additional SSD into the existing cache pool at the same time.

The array has started successfully and the rebuild is currently running. The cache pool appears to be healthy but I don't see any balance "activity"? I am also unable to start my docker engine.

Does the balance of cache drives in the pool only start after the array has been rebuilt?

Pool fail to balance and went read only, likely due to the corruption, reboot, run a correcting scrub and post the results.

Thanks for the reply.

I rebooted, re-started the array (which restarted the array rebuild) and then tried to Scrub with "Repair corrupted blocks" checked.

It seems to immediately abort?

Recommend you backup what you can from the pool and then reformat, also worth running a memtest.
