I am also messing with/using 2x3TB Seagate drives on a 5.0b14 machine without any issues.  I precleared them (36ish hours a piece) and added them to the array.  Everything is looking good so far.

For me now it's a moot point - Tom says he's going to try to finish 5.0 (release) by end of Feb, and that's just fine for me.

Looking forward to it...

I'm running 20 x 3TBs on 5b14 without any issues whatsoever (have written around 12TB so far).

On the other hand, I'm running a much smaller configuration, and nothing larger than 2TB, but no release after beta11 works for me.

Do not forget that everyone who uses one of the most popular LSI chipset controller around has utter failures on anything beyond Beta-12.

It would take a miracle for 5.0 final to be out by end of March unless Tom reverts back to the older and more stable Linux Kernel 3.0.x series.

That may be a wise choice.  A stable 5.0 kernel, then onto a 5.1 beta cycle.

I'm running Linux version 3.2.6-unRAID (root@peter) (gcc version 4.6.2 (GCC) since a few day back, but I don't have these new cards.
