m4f1050 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Is there a way to get this up and running on unRAID? I'm running unRAID 5 beta 14. My goal is to connect via OpenVPN and be able to access unMENU and other services I have running on my network not opened on my router. TIA unRAID 5 beta 14 has the tun.ko module in /lib/modules/3.1.1-unRAID/kernel/drivers/net/ I ran insmod /lib/modules/3.1.1-unRAID/kernel/drivers/net/tun.ko and then I ran openvpn server.ovpn and it ran without errors. Now to setup masquerading... Another can of worms... EDIT: Getting Segmentation Fault Get it quicker when using modprobe tun
flippedcracker Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I'm not sure about OpenVPN, but I just did it through my router running dd-wrt.

m4f1050 Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 My router doesn't support DD-WRT and I just bought it too Belkin F9K1003 I have both Win7 PPTP (only 1 connection) and OpenVPN server (multiple connections) running fine on Win7 but I would like to run OpenVPN server on unRAID and be able to put my Win7 machines to sleep when not in use. EDIT: I got the lzo and openvpn packages and put them in my /boot/extra and I created my keys/config files, all I need is the TUN/TAP kernel I guess.. Anybody knows how to do this?
