Unraid randomly shutting without input after ~10-20 minutes

Featured Replies

Heya,

since updating to 6.12.x I've been having this issue of my unraid server powering down with no discernible reason after a couple of minutes.

Looking at the syslog I notice that it seems to be a graceful shutdown as it receives a sigterm signal from somewhere, can't tell where though.

The issue doesn't reliably occur on 6.11.5 which is what I have been using as a fallback until recently.

I've attached a diagnostics zip below. Happened in the syslog-previous.

Try uninstalling the S3 sleep plugin.

Uninstalled the plugin and updated to 6.12.10, so far it's looking stable.

Will wait and see if it manages to run through the night and then get back to you but fingers crossed!

Been a bit longer because I did have a random server hang overnight but one reboot fixed that too and it's been rock solid since.
Makes me wonder what caused the plugin to create sigterm events but oh well. As long as it's gone now
