Transfer license from server 2(pro) to server 1(basic) while keeping config of server q

Hi all,

 

i have two servers, one with a basic and one with a pro license.

 

Now, I want to maintain the config of the „basic“ server and simply want to upgrade the basic with the pro license from the other server that I will not need any more while maintaining the config of the basic server as it is.

 

Is this possible? Any if so, how? By contacting the support?!

 

Any hints are appreciated!

Make a backup copy of both flash drives.

 

Overwrite the config folder with the other drive. Put the license key file back with the drive it goes to.

 

The license key needs to stay with the physical flash drive, the rest of the config folder gets moved over.

so config folder of basic should overwrite config of pro stick?

 

Never thought it would be that easy! will try it in the morning.
