April 2, 200818 yr Got a Cruzer Micro 256MB and cant boot to UNRAID using a new P5B-VM DO. have tried various options FORCE-FDD, FDD, HDD etc and numerous options. also set the SATA's to AHCI. can't anyone help or post their BIOS config. Test the USB Drive on an ASUS SKT-AM" System and booted straigh to it, no config needed at all. Has anyone had any experience using this board and whether its up to the job? I own a computer retail company so i can easily move the board along if need be. Cheers ET
April 2, 200818 yr The most common situation is needing to do sysllinux -ma to the usb key. This sets the MBR and sets the partition to active.

April 3, 200818 yr Tom, Maybe you could update this page http://lime-technology.com/wordpress/?page_id=46 It seems to be a common problem. To have the switches... I.E. Step 2 Download the syslinux tool to a simple directory, for example, c:\, and then run it by clicking on Start/Run. In the dialog box enter: c:\syslinux.exe -ma f: Perhaps updating the syslinux.zip file with a short readme will help too.
May 29, 200818 yr +1 for adding this to the docs/readme I had this very same problem -ma fixed it right up. Also, sometimes you need to have your usbdisk connected before your motherboard will see it as an option to select. I was very happy when my mobo said "Sandisk Cruzer Micro" as a boot option - only after connecting the usb disk while the power was off, and then booting.
