ejspice Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Hi, I want to backup select parts of my unraid to crashplan's cloud storage without having to install the client on windows? Is it possible to install the crashplan client on unraid and do it that way? I've had a good search around but can't find the thread to take a lead from.
ashaneil Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I have never personally used this plugin but you may want to either look at the post below or post your questions there: CrashPlan Plugin for unRAID 5b11+ (Installer). Good luck
StevenD Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Its in the Wiki: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=CrashPlan Im very new to Linux and I was able to get it up and running on my first try.
ejspice Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 thanks guys. I'd already looked at these but obviously not close enough to understand exactly what they were doing.
Timbiotic Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 i have connected unraid and crashplan to my computer but like the first poster it looks like I have to have this silly 2nd computer as a tunnel to the internet using putty. What i think he was asking and what I am too is can this be done directly from unraid?! No man in the middle needed? -edit- I found that the man in the middle is only needed to set it up, then it goes without any tunnel needed.
