[SOLVED] can i back up my unraid with crashplan?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I want to backup select parts of my unraid to crashplan's cloud storage without having to install the client on windows?  Is it possible to install the crashplan client on unraid and do it that way?  I've had a good search around but can't find the thread to take a lead from.

thanks guys. I'd already looked at these but obviously not close enough to understand exactly what they were doing.

  • 1 year later...

i have connected unraid and crashplan to my computer but like the first poster it looks like I have to have this silly 2nd computer as a tunnel to the internet using putty.  What i think he was asking and what I am too is can this be done directly from unraid?!  No man in the middle needed?

-edit- I found that the man in the middle is only needed to set it up, then it goes without any tunnel needed.
