June 25, 20242 yr After several blackouts, I encountered this Kernel Panic problem and I wanted to share it to know if there is any process to correct this in LincStation N1.

June 25, 20242 yr Community Expert The flash drive should still be a normal flash drive, and removable.

I seem to remember a comment about the USB drive being inside one of the NVME bays. The Linkstation home site has detailed instructions on how to reinstall Unraid once you have the USB boot drive. They boil down to the same instructions that can be used when installing Unraid onto a flash drive for any other system.

Thanks, I found the micro USB in the NVME bay compartment and following this tutorial https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lbhNsvBLdCvVSMourHWkHf0HB7MiQjJ3 I was able to fix it.
July 30, 20241 yr Hi @skydrop, I wanted to thank you personally for the link you have provided: Yesterday i have suffered a boot problem with my Lincstation N1 and i managed to solve it thanks to the tutorial linked in your last message. I did find the official Unraid USB creator tool does not work with Lincstation N1; it's just me or is a common problem? I'm also struggling find official guides and downloads on the Lincplus website: where did you manage to obtain the guide and the ISO? To be honest I have almost two weeks to decide to send the Lincstation N1 back; I like the product, but I'm afraid it lacks decent support. What if my Unraid was at beta version 7? The provided ISO install version 6.12.10, what would have happened to my installation and files with a rollback? Where to find more recent official ISOs? I did write to the support, let's hope They provide Us with official solutions! kaneda79
August 17, 20241 yr Hi, any chance somebody has different link to this iso file or can host it somewhere? The manual mentioned here is linked on the official website as well, but now there is iso file missing. I've had issue with key being not recognized so I've rebooted the n1 and on next boot it goes to EFI shell. Thanks
August 17, 20241 yr Community Expert You can use the USB tool or the manual method on the stock flash drive, I think it's under a sticker.
August 17, 20241 yr Hi @Backi, I suggest you to follow jorgeB suggestion. Otherwise you can find a copy of the ISO on my gdrive https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JKw9-2PIKkA3Q72M-FOQ9lE7ZSNjNpim
