Cache pool dissapered how to safely get it back?

Featured Replies

Hi all so my server failed earlier not sure why but im going to replace the hardware as its 10 years old. However everything is back apart from my cache and all my apps stored in my cache (2x250 gb ssd in redundancy mode)

If i put them both here it wants me to format them upon start up

Whats the correct way to bring back my cache?

Unassign both pool devices, start array, stop array, this will reset the pool config, re-assign both pool devices, start array, existing pool should be normally imported, but if it doesn't mount post the diagnostics.

I cannot unassign drive one just mark as no device. Im guessing this is going to cause an issue ?

There's a checkmark next to array start to allow you to start the array.

thank you, that seems to have solved it (had to take child out so took me a while to try) Now to decide on some new hardware :)
