No audio with NVIDIA GPU Passthrough

Hi everyone, new to here and still pretty new to unraid. I have a virtual machine that is using passthrough with a Titan X gpu. After lots of fiddling I got the video working with the pass through, but the windows VM using it doesn't have any sound devices listed in the VM. I made sure to add the sound device to the configuration and configure the onboard as a secondary sound card but nothing is detected by Windows. I tried configuring the XML so that the slot and functions matched and turned on multifunction='on' but ended up reverting it as it didn't seem to have any effect. I strugled with this for hours and I'm at a loss. I've tried connecting Display port but I don't have any other sound devices laying around to try. I have attempted installing a software dummy audio device but still nothing shows up on sound. I've rebuilt the machine three times now and I just have to chalk this one up to user error at this point.

Any help would hugely be appreciated!
