July 3, 20242 yr First off, I am a noob that has been doing my best to research other forums, find similar issues and apply their solutions. Unfortunately, I went down the rabbit hole, wasted a lot of time and effort, and thought I was finding the light, only to hit another wall. First, my server rack power cycles once a week it seems. No issues for over a year as I have a UPS to cycle down accordingly. After a recent reboot, our Plex Media Server was corrupted. I attempted many repair solutions including DBRepair but all failed. Thus, I simply re-created our server with the media still intact and lost all our watched, unwatched, playlists, collections, and custom media art. A lot of time that went into it was lost but after a while at least we could access the media again. Then after another reboot, all dockers went missing. I went to previously installed apps and re-downloaded most of them. Some needed slight tweaks while others were completely lost. I guess the creator abandoned the app so I could not reinstall my working docker any longer. Another time-consuming loss but we forged ahead. Just when we thought things were getting back on track for lost time, another reboot occurred. Power cycled cleanly, and nothing ever lost or issues arose on my old Synology server I use for simple backup operations. However this time, I can log into my Unraid server and everything is blank. No arrays, no boot device, and no pools or cache. Simply no hard drives can be found so no data at all. Start the array and hoped it was a timing issue, gave it a bit, but nothing ever populated. Rebooted, power cycled, disconnected every cable, every drive, every ram, the boot drive, let things sit, reconnected and turned back on, and same results, an unraid screen showing the CPU & RAM available and nothing else. I tried to perform a new config with preserving the arrays and pools. That did not help. Attached is the diagnostic log I was able to pull. Please, if anyone can help us, we would truly appreciate it! I am a noob but can learn fast. I am just running out of good ideas from other forums and would love someone to help. Thank you kindly! Here is a list of my drives if it helps any: 32GB SanDisk as Boot Device 2TB Inland PCIe Gen4 as Pool Device for App Data 1TB SanDisk SSD as Pool Device for Downloads 18TB Seagate Exos as Parity 1x16TB + 5x18TB Exos as Data stark-syslog-20240703-1539.zip Edited July 4, 20242 yr by Ketch Add Drive Info

July 3, 20242 yr Author Unfortunately, I have no authority to hire an electrician to discover/correct why our power surges/goes out randomly on a property I do not own. Therefore, I purchased a large UPS to ensure our equipment has more than the required time to provide a safe shutdown. Currently, our UPS gives the system 15-30 minutes of additional power depending on what is in use during an outage. This has worked better than expected for over a decade when our Synology Server filled our media center needs. Then with a Dell PowerEdge R730xd running Unraid taking over as our Media Server since February 2022. Regrettably, our Unraid issues probably started around 30 days ago under normal conditions for our household. On the other hand, my old Synology server continues to perform its revised role of backups admirably without issue. I have attempted to download another diagnostic as requested. However, I cannot even do that now. It just spins for over 30 minutes trying to download to the boot device that is showing as missing on the "Main" tab. I tried using the terminal to download one that I could pull off the flash drive later but it opens/crashes. I attempted again in safe mode, but the terminal pulled up white, and the diagnostic tried to keep downloading to a source it could not find. I'll keep trying in the meantime but any & all assistance will be more than appreciated. Please & Thank You! Edited July 3, 20242 yr by Ketch

July 4, 20242 yr Author I used the Unraid USB Creator software to create a new boot device as requested. I then copied the old config files to keep my settings and replaced the Key as Unraid required. Afterward, I rebooted my server and signed into Unraid. Unfortunately, nothing changed, Unraid pops up and does not recognize any of my drives. Array Devices, Pools Devices, Boot Devices, and Unassigned Devices all remain blank. However, while copying over the config files, I was able to gain access to my diagnostics which I have attached. At this point, I am worried I have to start all over. stark-diagnostics-20240703-1315.zip
July 4, 20242 yr Community Expert Strange. Have you tried booting in Safe Mode in case a plugin is causing problems.
July 4, 20242 yr Author I removed UD Preclear as another forum recommended. Then started the array in safe mode multiple times. Unfortunately, no drives are showing available so no data from them such as dockers, shares, photos, movies, etc can be found.
July 4, 20242 yr Community Expert That's just a display problem, try using a different browser, also make sure no ad-blocker or firewall is installed.
