Server locking / unresponsive up during parity check

For the last couple days the server keeps locking up in the middle of the night during parity check. Nothing is responsive and won't load the frontend. Power cycle and parity check starts again, and same thing hours later.

    Sounds more like a hardware problem, but enable the syslog server and post that after a crash, in case there's something there.
