[SOLVED] Shortcuts

Featured Replies

I have configured and setup my Unraid server. I am now in the process of transferring 8TB of movies from my WHS V1 to Unraid. I have a HUGE problem. I have used shortcuts on certain movie genres, "Ahem", "nature videos",  ::)  that I am not using media browser for. I have all of these movies in their own folder by name, and have created shortcuts of that folder and placed these shortcuts in the "actress's" folder. That way I can browse either by actress or movie title. The only problem is that since transfering to Unraid, NONE of the shortcut links work. Someone please tell me there is a simple solution to correct this other than by going movie by movie and re-creating the links. I know of a program that will work in windows but I don't think it will work on Unraid.

Also, for anyone reading this and getting ready to set up their own server, if you are re-using hard drives make sure that they don't have that HPA CRAP. Set up my server, tranferred over about 1TB, and then looked and discovered the dreaded HPA :o Wiped everything, removed HPA, and then reinstalled. Oh well, now I know. Never use Gigabyte Motherboards! Asus rules!! 8)

Thanks

EDIT:

I finally figured out how to use shortcut and replace properly. DUH!! :o I feel stupid.
