LSI SAS2308,disks not shown anymore

Featured Replies

I recently bought an LSI 2308 hba card to connect to one of my hard drive cages. I inserted all the hard drives that were originally connected through the onboard SATA into the hard drive cage, and then connected them to the system through the HBA card. At first, everything was ok, all my disks were recognized, and the array started. However, after the disks automatically spin down, all my disks connected through the HBA card disappeared. I tried to restart, but it did not recover. The hba card can be displayed normally in the system, but all disks cannot be displayed in the system and the array cannot be started. My hba card works in it mode.

HBA is being initialized correctly, do the disks re-appear if you connect them to the onboard SATA?

I checked in the BIOS interface and didn't see my hard drive. I also went into the HBA settings interface and still didn't see my hard drive. Yes,when I reconnected the hard drive via the onboard SATA, It appeared.I also found that my HBA card yellow light flashes slowly

Possibly a failing HBA.
