How to stop ASMedia passthrough to my vm

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Does anybody know how to disable ASMedia ASM1061/ASM1062 passthrough to my vm instead force the card stay with unraid system.
Because I need to enable my vt-d to allow my graphic card passthrough to my vm, but I don't want my ASM1061/ASM1062 sata card passthrough, if it passthrough then All my Hard drive are missing.

Any one have idea?

But even I don't check boxes the 24 25 26 27 , the ASMedia sata card will auto passthrough to my vm, My unraid can't use those drives.

Is this an 8 port controller with 4 Asmedia chips? If yes they are known to not work with VT-d enabled, and at least for some users they don't work that great with VT-d disabled either.
