July 9, 20242 yr Hi, Unraid crashed last night, had to power off. Restarting, I have a Docker Service Failed to start error. Any help appreciated, log attached. Edited July 9, 20242 yr by daNick73
July 9, 20242 yr Community Expert Solution Docker image is corrupt, delete and recreate: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/docker-management/#re-create-the-docker-image-file Then: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/docker-management/#re-installing-docker-applications Also see below if you have any custom docker networks: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/docker-management/#docker-custom-networks
July 9, 20242 yr Author Thx so much, worked like a charm! Minor recommendation for potential consideration: I had seen this was a recommended sticky approach in the forum before asking What maybe worth adding is whether (i) this should ALWAYS be a first approach if Docker service failed (if it was sure not to break anything) or (ii) if there was value in looking for anything specific in logs (e.g. in console > dmesg) before giving a try. The sticky recommendation assumes the user knows that he/she needs to recreate the vdisk to solve the problem. Maybe, adding few lines would help to fully leverage the manual. That said: THX @JorgeB for this amazing support!
