Help cache drive becomes readonly

Featured Replies

I'm using unraid 4.7. I have 2 data drives a parity and a cache drive.

I have just installed sabnzbd, sickbeard and couchpotato.

When I start up the server everything seams perfectly fine.

But after a while the cache drive becomes read-only

And nothing can be changed. When I restart the server everything works again.

Do you have any clue what could cause this?

Ps. I have also added my syslog.

The file system on the drive is corrupted.  As soon as the corruption is discovered by the OS, it is made read-only to prevent further corruption.

You can repair the file-system on /dev/sdX1  (note the "1" to indicate the first partition on the disk) by using reiserfsck.  See the instructions in the wiki.
