January 13, 201214 yr Hi all, I am new to Unraid, have a server (4.7) with 5 2 TB and 2 1TB drives of various kinds. I am in the process of copy data over from a bunch of USB external drives. Last night I copied about 350 GB of data from a drive to the array using Teracopy with it CRC check mode. Teracopy claims 4 files failed the CRC compare. I then used md4deep to get md5 hashes of the files on the array and on the original drive and the all matched! In other words, Teracopy reported 4 false failures. Has anyone had problems like this before? If I cant trust Teracopy to report failures, maybe I cant trust it to report PASSES either?
January 13, 201214 yr Author Ask on the teracopy forum. There does not seem to be a Teracopy "forum" on codesector.com. I submitted a "ticket". We'll see. Just wanted to know if anyone here had such problem because I know Teracopy is used here.
