January 5, 201214 yr If you are using RDM, I am pretty sure you can not get drive temps or use spindown. As you mentioned, if you do passthrough with a card like an SASlp-MV8 or an LSI card, you get both (pending the unraid version supports it). Has anyone attempted PCI pass through with an AOC-SATA2 card?
