July 14, 20241 yr Unraid had been running flawlessly for almost exactly a year until yesterday. Since then, I can boot into GUI mode and access files and it seems like everything is good, but if I try to boot into regular mode I can't access files and I can't log in via browser. I feel like this is probably a simple repair, but I'm at a loss on what happened and how to fix this. Could someone please have a look at my diagnostics and let me know tower-diagnostics-20240714-1208.zip syslog Edited July 14, 20241 yr by defaultuser
July 14, 20241 yr Community Expert What IP address are you trying to use? The diagnostics suggest that it should be 10.0.0.209.
July 15, 20241 yr Please provide a screenshot of the error message your browser gives when you access this url: http://10.0.0.209 (note, the url must start with http not https)
July 15, 20241 yr It looks like you might have tried tailscale at one point? There are some remnants that could be causing networking issues From SSH type: rm /boot/config/network-extra.cfg reboot If there are still issues please provide fresh diagnostics after the reboot
July 15, 20241 yr Author Yes I had tailscale installed at one point and I think you're on the right track, no luck after deleting that confg file though. I appreciate your help tower-diagnostics-20240715-1153.zip
July 18, 20241 yr Author Is there an easy way to delete my network settings or do I have to restart over from scratch?
July 18, 20241 yr Community Expert Solution Not sure the network is the problem, looks like you are already using the defaults, you could try booting with a new flash drive using a stock install, no ley needed, to confirm the problem is /config related, and if yes, recreate the flash drive and restore only the bare minimum.
July 23, 20241 yr Author Thanks everyone for your help! I installed the backup to a brand new 2.0 flash drive and it works perfectly now. Guessing the original 3.1 flash drive overheated but didn't completely fail. I've since relocated the flash drive (via extension cable) to a cooler part of the enclosure (Terramaster F4-423)
