Ihave a sandisk USB drive that was 16gb and I think it went kaput.  Can't boot unraid.  I tried to use a backup of the USB but the only backup I have is like 6 years old.  When I boot my server it first tries to run the ssd (Cache drive) but I stop that and go to my backup usb and it still says no operating system.  I don't have a complex set up only thing really important is Plex and a foundry server.  I just want to be able to access my drives.  Is there any way to fix this.  Worried as there is a but of data I don't want to lose.  I'm assuming it's still there it's just my startup that is borked and I can get the data.  I am a novice here but Unraid has always been pretty good so I hope someone can assist.  I basically can't get unraid to start.

Still not working.  Is it posible that with an update the Sandisk UBS I have might have stopped working.  I know they have GUID issues or something...

Not clear to me what doesn't work, or you not able to boot?

I was able to use a different USB that worked!  I found out which disk was parity but I don't know how to add a cache drive before first start of array.  Instructions at the link below saylook for "disk" on top and then select it for cache but I don't see "disk"  this si the last place I am stuck at before running the array again and getting everything back.  ANy help greatly appreciated.

Ok I set a pool for cache drives.  THen I set to go Cache first then Array for App Data, Domains, and System.   I will run mover and then do a partiy check. If any one thinks I messed up anywhere please let me know.  I plan on running parity check soon.

Unraid is great.  Always brings me back from brink it seems.
