January 17, 201214 yr Seems Ruudburger has beem busy here is the post where he asks for testers http://help.couchpotatoapp.com/discussions/v2/7-v2-testers-needed and here is a youtube vid how the new v2 looks like anybody up to test it on Unraid ?
January 17, 201214 yr It just looks "more pretty". Work doesn't allow me to access the site to see what has changed besides the prettier interface. Peter
January 18, 201214 yr Author From what i understood does it keep a database of all your movies ... and it can dld automatically a better version if wanted .... more in the style from Sickbeard tried starting it on my unraid but it wouldn't for some reason... guess it needs git ?
January 18, 201214 yr it works with unraid. But I had to start it as root. (the config and pid file etc. is under /root/.couchpotato) You only get some error messages without git.
January 18, 201214 yr Author yep it runs you can run it as nobody too with this startup line python /PATH TO/CouchPotato.py --config_file /PATH TO/settings.conf you can set the datadir in the settings.conf runs default on port 5050 as i said before it will scan your movie dir into the app... BUT it is in the beginphase .... stilll a lot of errors in the log if you have the time you can send updates to ruudburger
April 19, 201214 yr I've had couchpotato v2 working for a while now thanks to sacretagent. But I just realized it doesn't update. Has anyone got CP V2 to update? There's info on the main page for ubuntu but not sure how this pertains to unraid (excuse the linux noobness) Linux (ubuntu / debian): Install GIT with apt-get install git-core 'cd' to the folder of your choosing. Run git clone git://github.com/RuudBurger/CouchPotatoServer.git Then do python CouchPotatoServer/CouchPotato.py to start EDIT: Got it, stupid simple, just do what is listed above.
