July 16, 20241 yr Hi guys I got 2 8 TB as parity. I wanted to upgrade them to 20TB. SO i was able to replace one 8 TB and sync. But my question is can my parity works with a 8TB and a 20TB or i should put 2x 20TB. Because i would add the other 20 TB as storage rather then the 8TB. Thx Edited July 16, 20241 yr by francrouge

Although both parity drives do not need to be the same size when you have dual parity, neither of them can be smaller than the largest data drive.
