tbkelly
Started encountering a strange issue recently. I can no long stop the array and maintain access to the web GUI. This also happens if I disable auto start--I just never get the GUI loaded. According to the syslog, the array stopping seems to go fine. But then cannot access the GUI at all (page just doesn't load). I've tried both by name and by IP with no change. I just upgraded to 7.0 beta2 to see if I could get this issue to go away or change. Prior to that, I had also upgraded to the latest stable version with no change. I've also tried updating all of my plugins and dockers, but no change. There is also no change when I reboot into safe mode. The gui doesn't come up... I do maintain ssh access during this time, and so I've tried restarting nginx (no errors noted and the daemon apparently stays running) and collecting diagnostics (attached). I can imagine why the GUI would drop out when the array starts, but for the life of me I can't see why it would not be available when the array is stopped. I've attached my diagnostics so hopefully someone has an idea (maybe its obvious?). tower-diagnostics-20240719-1717.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Try booting in safe mode to rule out any plugin issues. Quote Link to comment
tbkelly
When I boot into safe mode the web GUI never comes up (I assume the array doesn't autostart in safemode?). When I ssh into the box, everything looks normal (nginx is running) and don't see anything obvious in the syslog. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
The GUI should still came up, suggest trying with a new flash drive using a stock install, no key needed, to see if the issue is the flash drive /config or external. Quote Link to comment
