So my replacement WD drive showed up... Any advice on what to do with an array holding one red drive and one blue drive? I wasn't going to bother with the pre-clear script, since the array is not going to be up and running.

    I would run at least one cycle of pre-clear on a re-certified drive, or 2 or 3 if you can wait.

     

    I assume you are going to rebuild the 'red' drive from parity.
