Dear all,

 

for quite a while I`m searching for an (actual / available) motherboard which supports IPMI together with the possibility to use the iGPU for video transcoding for my NAS / Media Server.

 

I personally - despite having build a NAS before and having some "technical understanding" - have a hard time finding something.

 

So I tought that I would start this collecting thread and hope to get some recommendations as well as helping others which are also searching.

So lets hear from motherboard which you are using.

 

Only caveat for this listing / thread should be:

- General availability (must not be completely new boards; so secondary market like eBay, etc. is fine - but at least it should be AVAILABLE/BUYABLE with at least some offers)

X13SAE-F works just fine with IPMI via remote VGA and iGPU for transcode. Just need to force the iGPU on in the bios and set primary display to VGA.
