Slow share directory in Windows Explorer

I'm running 4.3 Beta 6 with a cache drive. I exclusively access the server via shares. When a explore my unRAID shares via XP (or Vista) it can take 20-30 seconds for a directory listing to appear. I did this while watching the web interface and noticed that, with an initially spun-down array, unRAID incrementally span-up all the drives in the array before I got the directory listing. I'd seen delays in prior versions of unRAID but this seems worse. My server has 2GB of RAM and I wonder if it would be possible to maintain all share directory information in RAM to provide faster access and avoid spurious spin-ups.

 

Aside from that I'm delighted with 4.3.  :)
