I was ready to purchase a Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 card seeing as its on the hardware compatibility list. However, i've now heard that there are problems with this card and using S3 sleep and wake-on-lan (WOL).

 

Is there any way to know which 8 port cards will work with sleep? I figured any card on the HCL would but now i'm not so sure. Ideally around the same price as he Supermicro (£80-100).
