I think I spun down all the drives manually before bed last night, but then the Mover moved some stuff over night and it must have spun down on it's own at some point after it was done.
April 7, 200818 yr I think there is a "feature" that drives do not spin down properly until after a reboot.
May 14, 200818 yr I need resurrect this thread. I just added 4 SATA drives to my IDE array. The 3 drive that are part of the array spin down. The WDC_WD4000KD is my cache drive and does not spin down. I've tried to reboot several times but that doesn't work. If I use the spindown button on the web interface it spins down.
May 14, 200818 yr Looks like the cache drive does spin down. I checked it today and it was blinking...
