I use Acronis to backup my machine to the unraid server, the backup share is only on disk 4 and my music on disk5 and disk2.

 

When an old backup is no longer needed and i attempt to delete it, the server locks up completely. Unable to access webui, can't browse or see any shares and any open files anyone is using (like music, movies, word documents) all lock up as well. Even the telnet connection locks up.

 

This a known issue when deleting large files? It's a single .tib files that is around 110GB. It's typically locked up for about 8-10minutes. I never hard reset because i know it will come back, and i really don't want to risk losing any data.
