I was wondering if it possible to move docker appdata files and docker img.  files using Krusader tool if not do i have to move it using mover tool? 

 

heres thing i got a vm and docker containers on 240gb cache drive and i only want to move the docker files and appdata only do i have to move the virtual machines files as well?

 

 

Domains = VMs and Appdata = Containers.  They can be on different drives (ssd preferred ) You are able to move these files on your own.

Would take some notes on what you move around in case you need to move things back if it breaks.

 

Occurs to me you may need to use cli when moving container files since krusader is a container app and I imagine docker needs stopped to move these files.

 

May be easier to let mover do it.

one little thing do i have to move the system docker.img file to new cache SSD, or do I leave as default and let it find the containers automatically?

I misread it.  Leave that alone.  It will find the files under /mnt/user/

If the appdata is in it's new location drive try and fire up docker.  I'm thinking it should be ok.  Don't tinker with system files.

I checked mine and see that system directory IS also next to the appdata on the same drive.  Moving that is probably in order after all. Sorry for the mixed signal.  I didn't want something to blow up by moving the wrong thing.  It's been a while since I did this.

yeah that fine thanks for help anyway, it must that old unraid video witch I thought some what followable but it outdate by looks of that YouTube video, I mean heck there's not lot of new unraid video Contant on there, ever since join unraid around April, man unraid has changed lot from those days, i guess i start up a youtube channal based on latest unraid tutorials
